Bookmark your own post and read it often over the coming years. This is SUCH a good reminder that you will likely need to embrace a lot… or at least that’s been my experience. I have two boys, 8 and 5, and there are days when getting through the tough times of parenting, very honestly, has me longing for lazy Saturdays and selfish “me time” (I’m more of a “me time” than a “celebration” gal, but same concept). But then I am reminded of how precious a gift it is to mold and hold little hearts in our hands and I remind myself these days are numbered :)
