The idea of using dates as the sole sweetener is intriguing, offering a natural sweetness that's a great alternative for those watching processed sugar intake. It's fantastic to know they deliver on fudgy texture and rich chocolate flavor without being overly sweet.

I’m so happy I found this recipe! I cut out added sugar about a year ago and have been trying to find yummy recipes. I would say that these turned out more dense and fudgy than expected (although maybe I should have expected that from the title lol). So I call them chocolate “bars”, rather than brownies. But I found them delicious and I definitely get my chocolate fix! Just had one for breakfast

These were amazing! Loved the chewy brownie texture, and the simplicity of this brownie recipe. I LOVE DATES and am always looking for ways to incorporate them into my desserts, this was a win! I didn't add the glaze but I did add chocolate chips and a little salt and they were delicious.

Has anyone tried this recipe with gluten free flours before? If so, did you need to add baking soda to help to rise? Any advice/recommendations would be greatly appreciated

Thank you so much for the recipe! Love that it’s not too sweet. I made it without the glaze and it still tastes great. My mom couldn’t tell that it was made from dates, hehe. Looking forward to having it as a sweet treat after breaking fast in Ramadan. Thanks again!
