I saw this recipe when you first put it on, and I finally made it for dinner tonight. it was delicious. Big hit!!!!!!! Made two changes - diced up and sauteed lots of onion, pepper, and celery, which gave it lots of flavor. Also made open face on crusty italian bread.

In reply to <a href="https://www.thebakerchick.com/lazy-girls-philly-cheesesteak/#comment-192147">Molly</a>.

You're right- it's so messy. I found that I over-stuffed the sandwiches the first time around so on my next try it was easier with less filling. I just gave my hubby the plate with all the extra filling and he happily ate it haha!

I made this for dinner last night and my husband LOVED it. He kept asking me when I would be making this again. Haha. The only thing to note is that it's super messy and hard to eat. I preferred to eat it open-face style. Yummm! Thanks for the great recipe.
