My mouth was literally watering as I read this Audra! I am so glad you came up with this idea of roasting the fruit before adding it to a smoothie. I bet it really intensifies the flavor. How brilliant. I am so inspired to try this with all sorts of fruit combos now. And I am totally with you about getting carried away with fruit. I don't know how it all ends up in my cart. I think I sort of loose it in the produce department sometimes:)

Isn't that how it always happens? The really great produce always pops up on shelves right before we're leaving town and won't be able to eat it all up. I love the idea of putting it in a smoothie though - healthy and delicious!
