Audra: I made this recipe with late season plums, adding a bit of cardamom and powdered ginger to your suggested cinnamon. A little sprinkle of Demerara sugar to impress my wife, after the oven a quick finish on the charcoal grill for some smoky flavor… Mama Mia, it was marvelous! Your little vinegar trick made all the difference, perfect flaky crust. Thank you for the recipe and the inspiration!
