I don’t add the extra brown sugar either. And I do also chill my scooped cookies on a sheet pan in the fridge and then put them in a big baggie in fridge or freezer til ready to bake. 5 star recipe! I love this recipe because it not only produces a small batch, but the cookies themselves are delicious! I always make 6 and top with flaky sea salt. I’ve tried swapping out 1.5 tbsp flour for 1.5 tbsp malted milk powder, which yields a bigger (more spread) and crispier cookie. I’ve also made it as written for a softer cookie with less spread. Both versions are super yummy. Thanks for this great recipe — definitely a keeper!
