The caramel sauce on top is delicious, and the frosting made from potato chips and pretzels added a great sweet and salty crunch. This cake was definitely something special.

I was skeptical of the potato chips and pretzels in the frosting, and also of the proportion of butter to sugar, but the little chunks of saltiness in that rich frosting make it extra delicious. I bought a jar of caramel sauce because I couldn’t be bothered to make it, and I added chocolate ganache on top. Everyone loved this cake!
