Caramel Dutch Apple Pie

Apple season is here! Fall is the best time of year for baking don’t you think? This buttery, crumbly, sweet & salty Dutch Caramel Apple Pie a delicious way to use some seasonal apples.

There are lots of varieties of apple pie recipes, but my current favorite is this one, complete with a flaky crust, tart apples, and a sweet crumble on top. Finished with a drizzle of rich caramel sauce, this caramel apple pie recipe is just the best.

- Pie Crust - Apples - Cinnamon - Brown Sugar - All-purpose flour - Butter - Caramel Sauce

Ingredients

Slice your apples thinly and add them to a large saucepan with  brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, and cream.

Toss everything together and cook everything until the apples are slightly tender.

Add apple mixture to your pie crust and sprinkle with crumble topping. Bake at 400F for 45-55 minutes.

Bake until the crumble is golden and the apple mixture is bubbly. Drizzle pie with caramel sauce.
