The Baker Chick x Golden Hour

This site has really evolved a lot since I started it 15 years ago. What started as a way to document my baking and photography skills transformed into my personal online cookbook, a place for so many to reference their favorite recipes and baking tips.

While the blog isn’t going away, I have to share a new and exciting life update you are welcome to follow along with if you’d like. 

Last spring I signed my life away (kidding kidding just a 3 year lease…) to open up a little flower shop in my town. Always one to love creative endeavors, I toyed with the idea of a flower shop/studio forever, and when the perfect spot close to home opened up- I jumped on the opportunity. 

Golden Hour Flower Studio is a Chicago area spot that sells curated retail items, plants, and of course flowers! This opportunity is scary and different and I’m overwhelmed and exhasuted, but also grateful for the opportunity to create and make beautiful things in my own little space. 

So follow along on my new social media accounts if you’d like- and I promise to come back with new recipes on occasion as well!
